Hacienda is home to many live plants. We encourage anyone to bring in plants to brighten the room of an Elder, or to start a plant from a cutting. This will provide an opportunity for the Elder and visitor or staff member to provide care to the plant.

Our West Patio is the location of our garden area. Raised beds provide an opportunity for those using wheelchairs to enjoy gardening. Throughout the year, you will see many different types of plants growing in the raised beds and wooden barrels. During "harvest" time, Elders will eat some of the produce, and sell some as well.
